The Bobcat cross country team will be taking part in the annual Pumpkin McMuffin 5K Fun Run on the Paul Smith's College campus this coming Saturday October 23rd with an 11 AM start. This is a predict your time event, and quite often several of the participants dress in seasonal costumes. These costumes certainly do not result in personal bests for the 5K distance, but the event does provide the opportunity to enjoy running with teammates and friends as well as some community members in late October each year. This will be the 28th edition of the event, run in honor of Paul Smith's College student, Nic Pendl who died tragically of complications associated with an epileptic seizure. Nic passed away seven years ago, but his legacy lives on among those who knew him.
