Despite the rain and mud, the jubilant Bobcat Cross Country Runners were celebrating their matching second place team finishes following the Founding Tree Invitational, featuring 15 collegiate teams.

First Year Runners, Lilly Rother and Eliot Soderholm paced the women and men's teams with 2nd place individual finishes in the 6K and 8K respectively to lead both teams to second place finishes at Hampshire College's inaugural Founding Tree Invitational.
