McDonald & Kardohely to Represent PSC at National Collegiate Rugby Tournament
Austin, TX ~ Alexis McDonald (Northampton, PA) and Olivia Kardohely (Kempton, PA) will soon be playing rugby in Texas as they compete for the Upstate New York Women's All Star 7s Snow Leopards at the National Collegiate Rugby Women's Tournament. The pair will join 19 others from around the state to compete on Saturday, January 21st and Sunday, January 22nd against teams from all over the United States.
Kardohely is originally form Kempton, PA and is finishing up her junior year at Paul Smith's College where she studies Wildlife Science and minors in Botany. She joined the Bobcats her freshman year and immediately fell in love with the sport of rugby and the community that surrounds it. Fun fact about Olivia - she loves drinking coffee and listening to music from the 70's.
McDonald is also from the Keystone state and is also a junior at Paul Smith's College. She studies Environmental Science and is relatively new to the sport of rugby, only holding a rugby ball for the first time during her first semester at PSC. But she fell in love with the sport, and has not been able to put the ball down since that fateful day. Alexis looks forward to getting to know everyone on the Snow Leopards team, and can't wait to soak up more rugby knowledge at the upcoming tournament.
