Bobcats Win Behind Bagley's Quadruple-Double
Amherst, MA ~ The Paul Smith's College women's basketball team cruised to a 105-40 nonconference win against Hampshire College on Sunday, bringing their record to 12-10 overall. The Lady Bobcats received balanced contributions on the day, with five players reaching double figures.
Holly Bagley (Bloomfield, NY) left her imprint on every aspect of the game, earning a program milestone, quadruple-double, finishing with 29 points, 13 steals, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
"Shots all around were on fire," said Bagley. "It was an exciting team win for everyone!"
Hayleigh Gates (West Winfield, NY) filled up the stat sheet with 22 points, seven rebounds, six steals, four blocks, and three assists. Abbey Bateman (Edmeston, NY) and Brooke D'Amato (Waterbury, CT) contributed double-digit points as well, dumping in 18 points apiece. Bateman also finished with nine assists and five rebounds. Jaylah Greene (Barstow, CA) and Jayla Gray (Smithfield, VA) cleaned up the boards collecting 12 and 11 rebounds, respectively. Gray earned her ninth double-double of the season, dropping in 10 points and adding five blocks.
The Paul Smith's College women's basketball team finishes up the regular season this Thursday, February 16th at home at the Saunders Gymnasium against the Vermont Tech Knights. Tip-off is at 6:00PM.
