Cross Country

2021 USCAA XC Nationals (Virginia Beach):  36:47 in the 8K for a personal record.  Issouffou was the team’s 6^th finisher in the event.

Snowshoe Racing

2021 Jingle Bell 6K Snowshoe Race: 5^th place finish in 40:21

2022 Cock-A-Doodle Shoe 5K Snowshoe Race:  Finished the event in subzero temperatures.

2022 Stone Wall 5K Snowshoe Race:  7^th place finish in 40:39.

Selected as the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Prince (2022).

Why Paul Smith’s?   

I found out about Paul Smiths College from one of my teachers from high school. They told me that Paul Smiths' College will be a suitable place for me. Seeing that I love being outdoors and always finding something new to discover. After visiting PSC, I knew this was going to be my second home.

Personal: Issoufou Garba Hama is the son of Garba Hama S.  and Aissa Bagna of Niamey, Niger. The family moved to Brooklyn in the summer of 2010. Issouffou has older brothers, Ibrahim, and Daouda, and two younger brothers, Abdourahmane, and Harouna.  Ibrahim is an NYPD Officer, who enjoys traveling and loves driving vintage cars, Daouda is a Specialist E-4 in the US Army.
