Bobcat's Bass Fishing Reels in First on Lake George
PAUL SMITHS N.Y. –
This past Saturday the Paul Smith's College Bass Fishing Team fished the New York's The Bass Federation qualifier. The tournement, located of Mossy Point on Lake George, started with a a fog delay which prevented the team from running to their spots until 9am. After the fog lifted and the Bobcats got it done!
Juniors Gabe Smith and Ben Slayton came back with the win! Smith also caught the lunker, the largest fish, of the tournament. The other four boats followed Smith and Slayton's lead taking 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th.
With these placements each boat qualified for the State Championship which is only two weeks away on Lake Champlain.
Congraulations and good luck to the Bobcats!
