Pottersville, NY – The Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies welcomed the Paul Smith's College Bobcats into town for the 2023 Season Home Opener for the Huskies. In front of a charged-up crowd, the Huskies earned the first few points of the match, but the Bobcats settled in and took control of the game. The Bobcats would take all 3 sets by the scores of 25-10, 25-9, and 25-12. The Bobcats move to 5-4 on the season and are now on a 3-match winning streak. The Huskies drop to 0-3 on the season.
The Huskies' next competition will be a quad match at Clark's Summit University in Clark's Summit, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 23. Their opponents will be Clark's Summit and Penn State-Schuylkill.
