Huskies Finish Season

The Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies hosted Paul Smith's College Bobcats for their 2022-23 season finale. The Huskies started the game strong against the Bobcats, but the Bobcats were able to quickly climb back into the game. The game went back and forth in the 1^st half and the Bobcats were able to hit a late three to take a 31-28 lead into half-time.

The second half started off great on the offensive side of the ball for both teams with the scoring going back and forth. The game would be tied 48-48 with 11:47 to play in the game, the Paul Smith's Bobcats started going on a quick 11-5 run to stretch the lead. With the scoring going back and forth, the time eventually ran out on the Huskies as the Bobcats defeated the Huskies 76-63. The Huskies found great production from Travis Shearin and Quentin Lackey, with Shearin scoring 20 points, with 11 rebounds and 2 steals. Quentin Lackey scored 15 points, with 3 Assists and 2 rebounds.

The Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies 2022-23 season comes to an end with the Huskies finishing 7-19 on the year. The Huskies look forward to having basketball back in the fall for the 2023-24 season.
