Shorthanded Bobcats fall to Lady Lynx
Feb 4th, 2019 – Paul Smiths, NY – On Monday the Lady Bobcats faced off against the Lynx of NHTI. The Bobcats who were only able to play five players due to injuries and eligibility concerns struggled to compete with the surging Lynx who crushed the Bobcats 97 to 18.
Denise Jones (Bronx, NY) led the Bobcats in scoring with 10 points, she also had four rebounds and four steals. Amber Rockwell (Corinth, NY) had four points and 10 rebounds, while Nayleece Williams (Palenville, NY) played hard defense and recorded four points and four rebounds.
With the loss the Bobcats drop to 3-12 overall with a 1-10 record in conference play. The Bobcats return to the court tomorrow to face rival North Country Community College. If any students are interested in playing women's basketball please contact coach Ziggy Brown at zbrown1@paulsmiths.edu.
