High School Athletic Honors:  Captain of Cazenovia High School’s Varsity XC Team (2013).

Hometown:  Pompey, New York

Personal:  Son of Craig and Karen Dennis, born October 21st, 1995.

Academic Major:  Recreation, Adventure Education and Leisure Management

Academic Minor: Business Administration

Collegiate Academic Honors:  Paul Smith's College Dean's List (Fall 2014).   Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) All Academic Team (Fall 2014).

Collegiate Athletic Honors 

Snowshoe Racing:  Cody qualifiied for US Nationals in the Empire State Snowshoe Racing Association (ESSRA) Championships with a 59:33 in the 10K.  This was good enough for 9th in the 20 - 29 age category, and 16th overall.  Cody finished a surprising 3rd place at the 2015 Snowshoe World Championships in the men's 5K in the 20 - 29 age category.

Cody won four medals at the 2015 Empire State Games in snowshoe racing, with bronze medals in the 100 and 400 meters as well as the 5K (28:20), and a silver in the 800 meters.

At US Nationals, Cody was a member of the Paul Smith's College Men's 4 X 2.5Km relay team that placed second in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. 

Recreation Pursuits/Leisure Interests:  Snowmobiling, Video gaming, High ropes courses, Climbing, Hiking, Kayaking, Welding, Hunting, Downhill skiing.

Why Paul Smith’s?   I chose this college because the Adirondacks is a recreational paradise. I have met some incredible people and find new opportunities around every corner.
