Athletic Honors Attained (before arriving at Paul Smith’s College): All New England Runner 2 years, All ISL 2 years, received the Kilbourne Bowl for best overall improvement and hard work through my 4 years at The Brooks School; received 6 Varsity letters, Known as the 8^th fastest XC runner to run at Books in it’s history. Came in 2^nd for rowing at NIREA’s in Men’s 4.

Other Athletic Interests:

Great passion in extremely long trail runs during the summer

Surprisingly competitive in pool, and have good ping pong skills

Recreation Pursuits/Leisure Interests:  I am a now Professional Fishing Guide in the Adirondacks, as I have been fishing for the past 14 or so years of my life. I am very good at fly tying as well and I operate a fly tying business while also working towards graduation at Paul Smith’s. 

Why Paul Smith’s?   This college was the perfect fit for me. I attended a prep school for 4 years and felt very out of place there wearing a suit and tie every day. When I discovered this college, it just seemed to click and the people here were more down to earth than the students I was previously with. I also feel that this college has truly provided me with opportunities that if I attended other places I would’ve only have dreamed about. I have been very fortunate to travel all over the country and the world to compete and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. This college also helped me grow to become more independent and learn valuable skills of how to live on your own out in the real world. Some of this in an urban setting while the rest of it was in a wilderness setting. Not too many colleges I know are this specialized in outdoor studies, so I can’t be any happier than I am at this college.
