Men's Rugby shuts down St. Lawrence 31-0
The PSC Men's Rugby team defeated St. Lawrence University 31-0 this past Saturday afternoon. The halftime score was 12-0. Bronson Liguori and Shamus McArdle scored tries in the first half. While James DeMore scored 2 tries and Alex Meyer scored one try in the second half. Anthony Catalano used his speed to convert 3 kicks for 6 more points.
"The guys came together as a team in the second half and controlled the ball. SLU was constantly put on defense due to the aggressive play of our forwards," said Head Coach Mark Buckley. In a full team effort, Matt Spadoni, Ryan Morr, John Natoris and David Narelli were also noted for their stellar play.
The Men's Ruby team's next game is this coming Saturday and Potsdam State.
