Bobcats fall short at Barclays Center
Brooklyn, NY - Last Friday the Men's basketball traveled the Brooklyn, NY to play in the Barclays Center home to the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, the Bobcats would face off against familiar rival SUNY Canton who the Bobcats lost to earlier in the year.
The game would start in the Bobcats favor coming out with a 33 to 27 lead at the end of the first half. Things would turn sour in the second half however, with the Bobcats giving up their lead slowly and eventually falling to the Kangaroo's 76 to 61.
The Bobcats were lead by Sophomore Sterling Scott (Brooklyn, NY) who had a team high 18 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals. David Harris (Tampa, FL) had 14 points to go along with four rebounds. While Kenny Smith (Yonkers, NY) would have another all-around preformance off the bench with 6 points, five rebounds, one steal and one block.
The loss brings the Bobcats to a 5-10 overall record, and will take off the next couple weeks for break as they regroup and look to get back in the win column as they travel to Florida to take on North American University.
