Bowling has best finish over weekend.
Feb 2nd & 3rd - Schenectady, NY – Over the weekend the Paul Smith's bowling team competed in two different tournaments in Schedectady, NY. The tournaments consisted of 5 team games and 10 baker games, with a different pattern each day.
On Saturday the 'Cats competed in the Boulevard Bowl Classic hosted by Schenectady Community College. The tournament would be the best finish by the team of the season. Finishing 10th out of 17 teams.
Leading the way was Senior Benjamin McInerney (Victory Mills, New York) who averaged 200 over the tournament and shot a high game of 225, next was Junior Connor Bean (West Windsor, VT) who averaged 193 and shot the high team game with 256.
Sunday was a different story; the team would struggle a little more but would sit in a solid 11th place before bakers but would fall drastically to 15th by days end. Leading the day was Nicholas Ferrara (Gloversville, New York) who would average 185 over the day.
The Bobcats return to the lanes on Tuesday when they face SUNY Adirondack at home in Saranac Lake at 3 pm.
