Bowling has strong start at Westchester Shootout
Jan 26, 2019 - Fishkill, NY - The Bobcats started their spring semester season off on a good note at the Westchester Classic in Fishkill, NY. The tournament consisted of three double games, three single games, and 10 baker games.
Junior transfer Connor Bean (West Windsor, VT) lead the team again with a 186 average over 6 team games, Bean would place 26th overall but would put up his best finish in the singles event where he finished 9th out of over 80 bowlers. The Bobcats next best finisher would be Freshman Lucas Machowski (Maryvale, NY) who averaged 175 with a high game of 224 he placed 35th overall and singles. Machowski and Bean would also pair up to finish 27th in doubles. Senior Kalei Fenn (Newark Valley, NY) had the high game on the team with a 236 she would finish 37th overall with a 174 average.
The Bobcats also had their best preformance in the baker round consiting of 10 baker games. The Bobcats would start on fire shooting the two highest baker games of the season with a 224 and 221. In the end the Bobcats finished 9th out of 12 teams while knocking over 6798 pins. The Bobcats will travel to Schenectady, NY this weekend to take place in a weekend doubleheader with the Boulevard Bowl Classic and SCCC Collegiate Invitational.
