Bean leads Bobcats at Northeast Classic
Dec 2. 2018 - Lodi, NJ - Connor Bean (West Windsor, VT) lead the Bobcats bowling team at the Northeast Classic tournament hosted by William Patterson University, witch consisted of nine team games, and eight baker games over two days. Bean would finish the tournament with a nine game total of 1,692 good for a average of 188. Bean would also shoot the high team game of the day with 258 and also had two 222 games on the day, and would also would reel off 14 straight strikes between games five & six. Bean would finish 17th out of 130 bowlers in the field. Bean has finished in the top-25 individually at all tournaments this year.
Kalei Fenn (Newark Valley, NY) was the Bobcats next best finisher with a high game of 213, she would knock down 1,540 pins in the event and finish the day with a 171.1 average and placing her 34st.
Jessica Korkemaz (Troy, NY) led the JV team knocking over 1,463 pins, good for an average of 163 and had a high game of 201. She would 42nd in the individual portion of the tournament.
The Bobcats as a team would finish the tournament in 13th out of 14 Varsity teams, knocking down 8244 pins witch was 372 pins more than last place College of NJ.
The Bobcats wraped up their competitive fall schedule and will have one more event of their fall semester, the Holiday Helpers 9-Tap Tournament on December 8th at home Romano's Saranac Lake Lanes starting at Noon.
